I would just like to say sorry for raiding your gallery, especially your Merlin work. :) I find it perfectly expressive and creative, as far as the themes are concerned.

OMG, today was a gifts day, so many art from you !!!!!!!!!
I am so happy you posted your old pieces on your gallery
I love them all (I am amazed by the fruits and stuff ones cause it's so difficult to give "life" to "static" objects if you see what I mean and yours are so vivid)
And of course, loved all the series ones, especially the Quantum Leap ones as QL is one of my fave series as you probably know now ^^
Thanks again
Hugs and love

Yeah, I'd like to gradually get some of my old stuff onto here so I've got it all in one place. (I've realised I've lost a few drawings, so at least if stuff is on here I won't lose it) (Well...unless Deviantart goes bust and closes down or something, and hopefully that won't happen. :) )

QL was a great series. Scott is such a nice guy too.

No, never did. I've got a friend who's met him several times though, he seems like a lovely guy.

He was over in London doing a play a couple of months ago, but, although I still think he's nice, I'm not into the fandom anymore, and I didn't really like the sound of the play, so I didn't go.

Hugs and hope you have a great weekend too.

You're works are so amazing! Must be some effort in any case to draw like that. But it's well worth it! I love your style and especially the pieces about "Merlin"^^ Keep it on, please!

Thank you very much.

Yeah, it can be difficult. The Northern Sky painting was a PAIN. It started out completely differently, and then some friends I trust pointed out that it just didn't work. So I had to completely start-over, change the whole composition, and try again.

It's great fun though. I do enjoy it.

YW! Complete starting over? Omg... I do believe this must've been difficult for you. But it turned out so stunning and amazing, the effort was really worth it! And that goes for EVERY piece in this gallery^^

It's very hard to start again. Normally I just give up if something goes completely wrong, but in this case I liked the idea so much I wanted to perservere and do something with it.

I might post the failed version in my scraps, as it might be interesting to see the Northern Sky version that went okay compared to one that went absolutely rubbish. It's interesting to see what you need to change in order to make it go better I think. (it wasn't particularly that the painting itself was bad, it was more that everything was in the wrong place on the canvas...it goes to show how important composition is in making something work.)

And thank you so much for your lovely coment.
